Corner stands are available in numerous styles and can be made from a number of different materials.
Depending on the layout of your room, you may have a choice between locating your equipment along a wall or possibly using a corner of your room.
This corner TV stand comes with two doors and a glass front that will display everything you need. There are also a total of four shelves to ensure you have ample room for your entertainment ensemble. The piece will fit in any corner easily.
Clearly this was produced in the USA, & it was a pleasure to be able to put something together without having to interpret the instructions. They were clear, concise, & so helpful, you just can not err. I was a little concerned about the composite wood, but the finish looks very nice with a rustic, country look. When the package arrived, although the packaging was very good, there was a crack on one corner of the bottom piece. Sauder was great about sending a replacement part in 4 days time. I love the look of Sauders furniture, not too country, just a little rustic, with great lines & hardware. I am looking forward to ordering more pieces. I actually used the top shelf for my DVD player, & placed a small fireplace insert ( not with heater, just the light & logs) in the bottom center area. Looks good!
I ordered the TV stand while it was on sale. I needed something for the kids TV, without paying too much because kids. You can not trust them. This stand is perfect. It looks nice, it holds all of their games, the Xbox, and Lego Dimensions figures. It was not too hard to put together. I did it by myself and it took about 45 minutes. It says it will hold up to a 50" TV but we have a 55" on there. It says weight limit is 50lbs and the TV is definitely lighter than 50lbs. Everything came perfect, no damage, and all pieces were there.
This piece was straightforward to assemble, and looks terrific, though there is a couple of places where it is easy to put the wrong part in the wrong place. In particular, I installed the doors on the wrong sides and upside down. This meant the handles were in the right place, but the break in the edge banding is visible on top of the doors when they are open, and I had to drill new holes to hold the metal to which the magnetic door closures stick. (Unfortunately I could not correct the error by removing and re-placing the doors due to the design of the hinge - It springs into place into a hole, which makes it a one-way operation.) That mistake was on me, which is why I gave the unit five stars for being otherwise terrific for the price. Note: One non-standard thing that I did during assembly was to glue everything together with wood glue. It is solid as a rock as a result, but I do not know to what degree that made it better than it otherwise would be.
For example, some cabinets feature a vented base which pulls cool air from underneath the cabinet and expels warmer air out of the cable ports in the rear panels.
