Needless to say I was able to get it up 3 flights of stairs and assembled alone undamaged. NOTE you should not fully tighten the door hinges onto the stand at first because it does take some adjusting to get it perfect and there will still be a small gap but that is part of the design.
Like an expensive piece of wood furniture! If I had any cons to report, it would be that 1-there is not nearly enough wood glue that comes with the parts (which was not a problem since my husband has bottles of it at home) and 2-the circular stickers added to hide the screws did not stay on very well, so make sure to use glue on them as well. Problem solved. One of the best purchases we have ever made online!
The tv stand is beautiful. It is packed securely in its box. Assembling it by myself was not the easiest task, but with a little ingenuity anyone can do it. I used tape to hold the back in place, once I positioned it to where I was happy. Then I was able to use the tack nails to secure it permanently.
